Playing a pivotal role on this team, you will have demonstrable experience leading and developing junior team members as well as participating in all aspects of internal audit from planning to execution. A leading financial services firm is seeking a senior Internal Auditor to join their Internal Audit (Finance with Technology) team. The successful candidate will have worked in a similar controls role in a large European or American bank or an external audit position with a Big 4 firm at Manager level working with financial services client groups.
You will audit all functions within the finance and accounting space including: financial accounting, accounting records and policy as well as corporate / regulatory reporting, valuations, payroll and Tax. You will also have expert understanding of the UK regulatory environment.
Using strong communication skills to maintain excellent working relationships with team members, stakeholders and senior management, you will be experienced in all aspects of internal audit; from planning to writing the final report.

Essential:

  • Relevant professional qualification, preferably ACA.

Playing a key role in the internal audit FX/Markets team, you will have experience within a similar environment in a large bank or financial services organisation.  Using a strong understanding of risk and controls associated Capital markets including rates (particularly FX), cash and derivatives, the successful candidate will participate in planning and executing audits.  A team player with excellent communication skills you will help to leverage the internal audit business across the organisation in addition to maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Our client is seeking an experienced VP or Director to lead their financial and regulatory reporting audit team.  You will use extensive knowledge of Financial Regulatory Reporting, both for an international and UK setting, to develop and implement the Internal Audit strategy.  Experience of leading a central finance function or a similar audit role is desirable.

Our client, a leading global investment firm, seeks an experienced Auditor to join their internal audit team.  With a background in audit or accountancy gained in a Big 4 or investment firm, the successful candidate will be degree educated and hold a relevant professional qualification (eg., CPA, ACA).  Using their prior years of experience conducting audits, the ideal candidate will use excellent communication and networking skills to build successful working relationships with the internal audit team, clients, stakeholders and senior management.

Essential:

  • Professional audit or accountancy qualification.
  • Strong practical understanding of the audit process and regulatory developments, ideally for a global team

This is a senior role within the Internal Audit team covering Capital Regulatory Reporting within Global Markets. The successful candidate will take the lead in audits which are centred around Capital Regulatory Reporting covering areas including ICAAP, CRD4 and Standard Rules Capital Calculations.  Additionally, you will support the Audit function conducting non regulatory orientated audits, eg front to back reviews, and provide specialist input into a range of other audits including VaR waivers and other areas as necessary. The role also involves acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Regulatory Reporting within the Internal Audit Team. 

Requirements

Minimum 4 years PQE either auditing Regulatory Reporting functions within a major banking group, working as a Consultant covering clients requiring Regulatory guidance or experience of working within a Regulatory Reporting group at a major institution.

Knowledge of current BASIL regulations
Capital Requirements Directive (CRD4) knowledge
Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)

Whilst NOT essential it would be useful to have experience of conducting Internal Audits with the ability to lead a small team.

 

Our client, a leading European Bank, is seeking a Senior Auditor with Wholesale banking audit experience to join their internal audit team.  The ideal candidate will have experience leading large audits of in  aspects of wholesale banking  covering the capital markets, market risk, treasury and asset management businesses.  The successful candidate will be degree educated, hold a relevant professional qualification and have a big 4 background. Using this experience and knowledge in conjunction with excellent communication skills, you will develop and maintain strong positive working relationships with team members and senior management as a senior member of the London Audit group.

Requirements:

  • Experience conducting internal audits

  • Wholesale banking audit experience: ie, SPV’s, investment banking, equity, FX, rates / fixed income, treasury, derivatives, market risk or Asset Management

  • Experience of leading and managing people.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Senior Audit members in delivering the  Audit Plan.

  • Providing expertise to clients, senior management and junior team members, particularly for traded product areas / capital markets risk.

Our client is seeking and experienced Model or Market practitioner to join their internal audit team. The successful candidate will hold a maths or science degree or post graduate qualification with prior experience in financial services and/or banking.  The role involves looking at all aspects of Market Risk Audit, including Model Validation, VAR, Stress Testing Valuation, Model Building, and Model Development, across the business. As this is a VP level role, previous in depth experience in this area is essential.  The ability to audit these areas within a risk based audit system is also essential.  Excellent communication skills are required, to develop and maintain positive working relationships as part of this small specialised team.

Essential:

  • Expert understanding of Anti-bribery and Corruption, Financial Crime (AML/STF) and Fraud requirements for UK and USA.   In addition to expert knowledge of sanctions, transaction monitoring and Due Diligence.

  • Expert understanding of UK Conduct of Business requirements which includes Retail Conduct Risk.

  • Experience managing and leading teams.

  • Minimum of four years current experience  in a regulatory function of a financial services organisation or large bank.

  • Knowledge of UK Financial Crime Regulations
