This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with Credit Analysis experience to join a small team in the front office of an International Corporate Bank.

Working within the Bank’s NBFI / FI clients including: Broker Dealers, Insurance firms, PE Funds, Investment Trusts, Asset Managers, the role involves liaising with the group’s relationship managers, assisting them to service clients by providing credit analysis support as well as ongoing client relationship management and development.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience in Credit Analysis and looking to transition to a front office role or someone in a institutional finance / origination support role of a bank or consultancy firm, looking for more business relationship management experience.

You must have an understanding of credit products (e.g. Term Loans, RCFs, NAV, SBLC’s), and ideally previous NBFI / FI experience with relationship management and hold a UK VISA as the employer is unable to sponsor candidates.

This is a pilot project that is blazing a trail towards a more wide ranging initiative and will involve deep collaboration with exceptional group of software engineers, quantitative analysts, business analysts, Dev-Ops engineers and enterprise/solution architects.

We are looking for self-motivated, driven technologists, programmers, machine learning experts and data scientists who want to solve complex problems arising from building distributed and highly concurrent systems. Your primary responsibility will be delivering solutions to the Fixed Income and Derivatives business for this global financial powerhouse institution.

You will be working closely with other members of the global team who include specialists in functional programming, data science, software engineering, machine learning and data analysis and with the front office trading desks to define product features, determine scope, build estimates, design and develop systems. You should have a strong software engineering background with hands-on design and development experience in building highly distributed, scalable and concurrent applications.

Qualifications required:

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university or BSc with significant relevant industry experience
  • Functional programming skills, strong computer science foundation; technology stack include UI : (Drools (KIE), jBPM); RT Processing: (Scala, Apache Spark, distributed NoSQL database using JSON); Near time: (sharding), Big Data – Hadoop; RESTful API
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Experience of building large scale applications, machine learning and big data
  • Knowledge of building automated testing and performance testing is a plus

A global financial organisation based in Vilnius are currently hiring for a IT Specialist / System Owner to work in their Front Office Securities IT team.

The Securities IT team are responsible for building and integrating the next generation of trading applications for their Fixed Income and Equities business.

The Securities IT platform is a combination of in-house developed systems and external vendor products. The System Owners are responsible for the external vendor suite, ensuring that the solutions and systems we have in place are fit for purpose to support the business flow.

We are looking for a skilled technologist who wants to be part of a high performance team that delivers state-of-the-art, value adding solutions to our business stakeholders. Although the position is based in Vilnius, my client has a distributed team of about 30 people so effective communication and collaboration is critical to achieving their strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the electronic trading vendor products, and ensuring the solutions we have in place are ‘fit for purpose’ to support the intended business flow.
  • Being the technical expert on the platform and have a thorough understanding of the business flow it supports.
  • Coordinate and handle maintenance tasks, upgrades, improvements and optimization.
  • Install and configure new components as well as retiring old ones.
  • Secure a fruitful working relationship between business users, operations, infrastructure teams and the Securities IT team.
  • Solve complex tasks with simple solutions, while keeping the overall picture and dependencies in mind.

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Relevant higher education – Bachelor’s degree as a minimum.

  • Experience of cooperation and coordination across stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with IT projects in a time-to-market focused environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, spanning across the server side (mainly Windows but some knowledge of Linux is desirable), network, firewalls, etc.
  • Experience in an agile work methodology.
  • Knowledge of incident and problem management.

  • You will have strong C# server-side development background. Extensive knowledge of .NET Framework 4.0 +, messaging technologies (idealy ZeroMQ and RabbitMQ), SQL, XML and source control systems such as Git and TFS are essential.
  • Automated testing and CI experience is also desirable.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude is required along with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • My client would strongly welcome candidates from a solid Java server-side development background who would like to make that transition into .Net

Our client, a leading global bank is seeking an Internal Auditor to join their dedicated audit team.  As part of the team responsible for auditing commodities, the successful candidate will have a background in a similar banking or financial services environment within a Capital Markets function.  Using excellent communication skills to manage relationships with clients and senior management, you will have expert knowledge of the risks and controls governing the front office preference will be given to those with hard or soft commodity experience.
